THE WEDDING PARTY

The Wedding Party is a group of ten artworks which depict the newlyweds and their immediate family along with the officiant and other traditional ceremonial roles. It is a bit of a personality test as each viewer offers a  differing opinion as to which character is which based on their own personal experiences and gender. The series theme was not decided in advance, I was creating collages using botanical imagery in response to an open call and eventually I realized that characters had evolved with distinct interpersonal relationships.

They are presented unidentified in the order they were started to allow you to find your own interpretation.
